1 Million Cups – Irvine ( #1MCIrvine ) met this week to present two new companies to tell their story. Ryan Foland, one of One Million Cup’s organizers, explained that RSVP means Ryan Says (it is) Very Polite and reminded everyone to head over to the group’s Meetup page and register for next weeks event so there is adequate coffee reserves. It in notable that we also have a variety of teas to choose from courtesy of Rachel Crawford, owner of Teamotions. This week Dru Blake again was in hand to emcee the event.
Scott Henderson from Cause Kups was on hand introduce us to a social enterprise which uses the established single serve k-cup market to bring about social awareness to the issue of human trafficking, and how coffee drinkers can unit and make a difference one cup at a time.
Next up was Nathan Lee with SamsRide, which is a ride share company with several unique differences from the average cab or limo service. Their ability to pre-schedule pick-ups and pay with cash are just a few features that make this service stand out fro the crowd.
